The People Behind Double Six Café
The owners of La Sétima Club, Coral Carrasquillo and Ryan Fouche bring a wealth of experience to the café scene. Their previous venture, Jug & Bottle in Seminole Heights, established their reputation in the natural wine space. Carrasquillo’s vision for an all-natural wine bar with a plant-based kitchen and a variety of wines and beers has been well-received by the community.
Fouche shared with Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that La Sétima had been testing the café concept over the past year. With the official launch of Double Six Café, they have fully committed to the idea. “We went in with our whole ass,” Fouche said, indicating their dedication to making the café a success. He also mentioned that they are developing a cocktail program to complement the café’s offerings. “So far, it’s working out,” he added, expressing optimism about the café’s future.

At Double Six, Ramos serves her cortados in a 4-ounce chalice adding a touch of indulgence to the classic drink.
