As the area’s population continues to swell, reaching approximately 1.02 million people within a 30-minute drive the demand for accessible healthcare services has never been greater. With a projected population growth of 9.3% by 2031 the timing of this new medical campus couldn’t be more critical.
The Heart of the New Medical Campus
The initial phase of the Baptist SilverLeaf Medical Campus introduces a range of essential services designed to meet the community’s immediate needs. Primary care offices, a wellness center cardiology services, rehabilitation programs, and laboratory facilities are now open and ready to serve patients.
Looking ahead, the campus will expand its offerings to include orthopedic and neurology specialists beginning this fall. This phased approach ensures that the facility can grow and adapt alongside the community it serves.
Emergency Care for All Ages
One of the most anticipated additions to the Baptist SilverLeaf Medical Campus is the upcoming emergency center scheduled to open in September. This state-of-the-art facility will feature two distinct emergency centers under one roof: one dedicated to adult patients and another specifically designed for children aged 0 to 18.
The pediatric emergency center will provide families with direct access to the specialized care of Wolfson Children’s Hospital the region’s only full-service children’s hospital and the sole American College of Surgeons-verified Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center.
