The Universal Celestial Goodnight show, which premiered on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 is a spectacular display of light, water, and fireworks set in the heart of Celestial Park. This central hub of Epic Universe is designed as a cosmic garden serving as the world between worlds that connects all the park’s themed lands.
Universal Celestial Goodnight: A Spectacle of Light and Water
The Universal Celestial Goodnight show features an impressive array of 350 fountains600 synchronized light fixtures and 7 million LEDs all choreographed to an energetic musical score. The show pays tribute to the various worlds within Epic Universe, including Super Nintendo WorldHow to Train Your Dragon – Isle of BerkThe Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and the Universal Monsters of Dark Universe.
The grand finale of the show is a jaw-dropping fireworks display providing the perfect conclusion to an action-packed day at the park. The show runs nightly at park close, offering guests a dazzling way to end their visit.
Universal Nights: An Exclusive After-Hours Experience
In addition to the new light show, Universal Orlando Resort has announced Universal Nights a limited-capacity after-hours event that will debut on Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17. This event allows guests to experience Epic Universe in a whole new way, with nighttime access to attractions, entertainment, character interactions, and more.
Universal Nights runs from 9:00 p.m. to midnight on event dates, but guests can arrive as early as 7:00 p.m. to enjoy the park, including the Universal Celestial Goodnight show, before the event officially begins. Tickets for Universal Nights will go on sale on August 13 and start at $179.99 plus tax per person.
The event also includes complimentary specialty snacks and beverages, providing guests with a unique and exclusive way to experience the park under the stars. With limited capacity, Universal Nights promises a more intimate and immersive experience for those who attend.
