Compared to the national average, Florida’s gas prices are 2.75% lower. This places the state among the cheapest areas in the country for fuel, alongside Texas, where prices are at $3.546 per gallon. Meanwhile, California remains the most expensive state for gas, with prices reaching $5.354 per gallon.
The data, provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), highlights the variations in fuel costs across the country. While Florida drivers enjoy relatively lower prices, the gap between gas and diesel prices remains significant, with diesel currently priced at $5.134 per gallon nationally.
