A Severe Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Escambia County, Florida, until 5:30 PM CDT on July 30, 2026. The warning was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Mobile AL at 2:38 PM CDT.
The affected areas include Pensacola, Ferry Pass, Brent, Goulding, and Brownsville. Doppler radar indicates thunderstorms producing heavy rain, with 2 to 4 inches of rain already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible.
A Flash Flood Warning indicates that flooding is already occurring or will occur shortly. Small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses, as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas, may experience flash flooding.
