Public viewing is available throughout The Cove District, with free parking for restaurant patrons and designated event parking throughout the Port.
Meanwhile, in Downtown Cocoa Beach the America’s 250 Celebration & Drone Show offers a unique twist on traditional fireworks. Families can enjoy live musiccarnival games a Kid Zone and a synchronized drone show beginning around 9 p.m. This modern celebration honors the nation’s milestone anniversary while providing a memorable experience for all ages.
Saturday, July 4: Community Celebrations Across the Space Coast
The main event, Independence Day brings even more excitement with celebrations spanning from Melbourne to Titusville and beyond. In Melbourne the annual MelBOOM celebration returns to Front Street Park with food vendorsfamily activities and one of Brevard County’s premier fireworks displays over the Indian River. This year’s event also celebrates America’s 250th birthday, making it a signature celebration.
In Cocoa Village the Brevard Symphony Orchestra performs patriotic favorites at Cocoa Riverfront Park during the July 4th Symphony Under the Stars. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free outdoor concert before fireworks begin over the Indian River around 9:15 p.m. Food trucks and family activities make this a favorite annual event.
Further north, Titusville hosts the Red, White & BOOM celebration, featuring an America 250 parade live entertainment, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale along the waterfront. This event is one of the largest Independence Day celebrations on the north end of the Space Coast.
In Palm Bay the annual Independence Day Celebration at Eastern Florida State College offers free admission, live entertainment, food vendors, children’s activities, and an evening fireworks display. Bring chairs or blankets and enjoy one of South Brevard’s most popular family events.
Lastly, Viera’s annual Great American Celebration returns with family activities, entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks, making it another excellent option for celebrating Independence Day on the Space Coast. The event remains one of Central Brevard’s favorite community traditions.
